About She Glows

She Glows is a quiet little corner of the internet I created after years of learning how to take care of myself in a way that felt gentle, sustainable, and true to who I am.

About Me

I'm Josel. For a long time, I thought becoming "better" meant becoming louder, faster, more visible — the hustle-culture version of growth. An unexpected, heart-wrenching experience was part of what first made me realize I needed to prioritize myself. It took years after that of slowly learning what real self-care actually looked like for me — not performative, not overwhelming, just gentle and sustainable before this blog became a way to share it.

I plan on pursuing a medical degree down the road though there's no set timeline for that yet. But this blog isn't about my career. If anything, it's the opposite: it's the quiet space I come back to for everything that has nothing to do with output, achievement, or performance. A place to focus on gentle habits, a slower pace, and glow-ups that come from the inside rather than the outside.

This blog isn't about having it all figured out. I'm still very much in the middle of my own glow-up. It's a space for introverted, sensitive women (and anyone drawn to a gentler way of living) who want to grow, feel more like themselves, and build a life that feels calm and intentional without burning out or forcing themselves to be someone they're not.

If that sounds like you, welcome. Let’s grow gently, beautifully, and at our own pace. 🌷
